What is unique about the Residential Colleges?

The Residential Colleges are small communities of diverse students. Students will be able to live, learn and dine together and to have relationships with the OU professors who serve as the Senior Fellows and faculty Fellows of the colleges. The colleges will create traditions meant to provoke thought and stimulate creativity. In addition, the colleges are interesting, fun and interactive places to bring people together in fellowship, competition and recreation.

In the OU Residential College dining halls, Fellows and Faculty Fellows eat together informally at daily meals and throughout the academic year at more formal occasions. High Table Dinners welcome distinguished visitors and speakers, celebrate the triumphs of the colleges and otherwise mark important moments in the lives of the colleges and the Fellows. Senior Fellows also host teas at which guests of the college from inside or outside the university community make remarks and engage in Q&As, followed by informal socializing.
